Marc D. Shomaker, 36, died on November 11, 1977, while living on St. Simons Island, Georgia. He was born September 3, 1940, in Rockford, the son of Ellis and Beatrice (Smart) Shomaker.

Marc was a hairstylist, employed by the Cloister Hotel.

Survivors include his mother and one brother, Robert of Dixon. He was preceded in death by his father.
