Donald Richard Krahenbuhl Donald Richard Krahenbuhl, 76, of Dixon, died Monday, July 11, 2016, at Pleasant View Nursing Home in Monroe, Wisconsin. He was a lifetime farmer.
Donald was born March 19, 1940, in Dixon, the son of Alvin and Mary (Simmons) Krahenbuhl. He married Irene Johnson on Nov. 25, 1961, in Dixon.
Survivors include his wife of Dixon; one son, Curtiss Krahenbuhl, of Madison, Wisconsin; two daughters, Kimberly (Russell) Arend of Dixon and Kelly (Sacha Bendickson) Krahenbuhl of Madison; and one sister, Alice (John) Howell of Dixon. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one son, Donald Richard Krahenbuhl Jr. Visitation will be from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Friday, and the funeral at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Preston-Schilling Funeral Home in Dixon, with the Rev. Brant Clements, pastor of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Nachusa officiating. Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Dixon. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
